FINANCIAL COMMITMENT
All invested members of the group must pay an ANNUAL
REGISTRATION FEE.
This amount is made up of contributions to both the Tasmanian office
of Scouts Australia and the cost of running of the Group. The
payment can be made in instalments throughout the year but the full
amount of the state levy must be paid by the end of April each year.
STATE LEVY.
is sent to Scouts Australia –Tasmania to finance
member’s insurance and public liability insurance and to help fund
the day-to-day running of Scouting in Tasmania.
The entire organization in Tasmania is run by volunteers with the
exception of one paid administrative position.
GROUP LEVY.
is kept by the Group to pay for insurance of the boats
and building and fund additional costs such as rates, power, trailer
registration, leader training and general maintenance.
SUBSCRIPTIONS.
of $1.00 per youth member are collected each
meeting night to pay for activities, purchase of badges, craft, etc.
FUNDRAISING occurs regularly to fund specific projects (eg the
support vessel) or improvements to the Group’s assets.

Fees are $195.00 for the full year. Payable in total with
a $5.00 discount or in three installments (discounted to
$174.00 each if more than 2 children)
Once invested children are then required to pay $1.00
each, each week for subs. This is still paid if they miss a
